NLCRC Presenting at ILMA Engage 2024

The Independent Lubricant Manufacturers Association (ILMA) is holding its annual event, ‘ILMA Engage 2024,’ from April 11 to 13 in Coronado, California. At this event, industry members will convene to discuss collaboration, regulatory proposals affecting the industry, and trends in the lubricants industry, among other topics.

On April 13th, the National Lubricant Container Recycling Coalition (NLCRC) will share an overview of current coalition activities, including some of the key benefits of full value chain engagement in petroleum and automotive packaging recycling. This discussion will also include key information on the US Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) timeline compliance mandates by state and plans moving forward.

The NLCRC members believe collaboration is critical to making the necessary shift to address the changing legislative context in the US and to manage the complexity of recovering and recycling petroleum and related packaging. This is one of the reasons that ILMA recently became a member of the NLCRC, and why the NLCRC is participating in the ILMA Engage 2024 conference – to learn from other industry members and to share our story.  

The National Lubricant Container Recycling Coalition or “NLCRC” is an industry-led coalition funded by a committed consortium of value chain stakeholders focused on establishing solutions for the recovery and recycling of packaging for petroleum-based and related products utilized in the transportation and industrial applications Industry.
